LITTLE EXPERIMENTS
In five minutes time
the story's told
in myths and rhymes
it has its root
well defined
the train leaves
in fives minutes time
Five minutes to go
don't fall behind
it's not your time
- just look around
In five minutes time
the story's told
and spread all around
it has its route
well defined
the train leaves
leaves it all behind
Five minutes to go
- still enough time
it's not your town
- just look around
Five minutes to go
in the fullmoon's shine
it won't pay you
no neverind
But I don't...
...dunno why...
won't wait
It’s so hard to sit down with a tornado
for it’s always in the wind
so let us go or let us settle
in the center of the rim
Tell me why all we do is listen
to the music of the hymn
while the lights of our chances
are still shining altho’ very dim
The humble way may lead
through a tornado, through the flame
yet it won't compete
so it can never fail
for it won't compete
it might never ail
It's so hard to hide out
running all night long
all taken by the wind
so let us go or let us settle
in the center of the rim
Why all we seek is longing
for some existential thing
with the scents of roses spreading
in the brightness of the ending spring
The humble way may lead
through a tornado, through the flame
yet it won't compete
so it can never fail
for it won't compete
it might never ail
Thus let’s not compete with a flower
that knows its destiny to win
instead, let us go or let us settle
where the silence’s been ever since
There's a pine tree standing
on the corner of a high school wall
each day kids are passing
figuring out what they're looking for
They come in tears or smiling
so much more they wanna hold
on their tiny shoulders' resting
the whole weight of the world
The pine tree knows
of joys and sorrows
of todays and tomorrows
of our ancient times
Some look for dreams
in their hollows
the one passing
and the one who follows
look there wishing
to read the mind of tomorrow
to see the sunset at the dawn
One by one years are passing
only the pine tree doesn't change
year by year kids are growing
running aroung, sitting on the fence
After sunset, the darkness' falling
on the pine trees all around
in the streetlamp glow they're twinkling
calm and steady, all year 'round
The pine tree knows
of joys and sorrows
of todays and tomorrows
of our human kind
Don't look for dreams
in their hollows
the one passing
and the one who follows
don't waste time looking
for a parchment hidden
at the roots...
Find me a tiny little table
where muses come to sing
and pretend to let me do
anything
Bring me a quill and a piece of paper
some tea and a bowl of ink
come sit here and tell me
what you think
Come back to the building
come to shed a tear
come home to the building
come to shed your fears
Tell me of your troubled mind
although true and unbespoken
silenced by the will to fight
which still remains to be broken
to free the demons of the heart
Find me a tiny little table
where demons come to sing
and pretend to cause me
suffering
Write me a tiny little fable
stay here till the morning's brink
come sit here and let me
hear you sing
Come down on your bloody ego
you've never been this near
come learn of the mighty ego
the reason of your fear
Tell me of the lightless heart
its sun covered, overtaken
by another moonless night
which still remains to be brightened
to free the demons of the heart
Come back, down the stairwell
where some might fear to be
where the abyss of the future
with the abyss of the past
shall meet...
...Come back, to your heart
Look here,
how you’re worried
when you’re full of joy
so much worried
of being sad again
Look here,
how you’re serene
when tears are coming
from your eyes
So hard to say goodbye
to your worried mind
such a grief in your heart
for loosing one you’ve known
your whole life
Your eyes are gazing
across the cloudless sky
and tears are coming
no need for asking why...
You are losing
your dearest enemy
for you know you’ll never
fight again
Tears are pouring
for your worried mind
for you know you’ll never
grieve again
Tears are pouring
from your eyes
for a lifelong foe
who has left you to become
your truest friend
When spring comes ‘round the corner
when wind starts blowin’ warmer
and the feel is in the air
I can see you smilin’
I can see you everywhere
When the days are gettin’ longer
and I let my mind just wander
when winter clouds go away
I can hear you laughin’
I can hear you everywhere
Let’s smile when we’re happy
and let’s smile thru tryin’ times
for every joy and every trouble
comes and goes - like the ocean tide
comes and goes - like the cloudy sky
Each day we’re a little older
each heartbreak a little wiser
and no matter if we’re far away
we can feel our thoughts
we can feel them everywhere
When you’re worried for the future
when you face your inner demons
don’t be scared, don’t run away
let then see you smilin’
let them feel it all the way
Let’s smile when we’re happy
and let’s smile thru tryin’ times
for every joy and every trouble
comes and goes - like the ocean tide
comes and goes - like the hues of sunrise
If it’s summer spring or winter
or the autumn leaves start fallin’
if the snow is in the air
there’s a reason to be smilin’
a good reason everywhere
When the time comes to keep movin’
when we shed this mind and body
a part of it shall always stay
helping those still lookin’
lookin’ for the way
In the net of your own effort
a fish is caught with no clue
oh, don’t fight the current
or it’ll get you, it’ll get you!
I am water, crystal and pure
flowing my own way
carried away
by you
Full of fear of what might be
body stunned, cannot feel
Be water, flow to the sea
or you’ll cease to be
you’ll cease to be
I am water, crystal and pure
flowing my own way
carried away
by you
Wake up from the dark depths of ignorance!
Unbound by human conventions
be a wild ocean stream
see the world, vast and free
vast and free
I am water, crystal and clear
let yourself be carried
carried away by me
a goddess of water
